Steel Empire - Game Boy Advance - Intro & Playthrough on Normal (GBA Player Capture) [UHD 4K60]
Full gameplay longplay / playthrough / walkthrough & trueplay of the GBA remake of the iconic Mega Drive / Genesis shooter from HOT-B. Best remembered for its steampunk and mid 20th century graphics and designs, Steel Empire remains a well designed and highly playable shooter, that doesn't fill the screen with bullets every five seconds. With two playable ships which you can swap between missions over the course of seven levels.
This GBA remake largely remains true to the core of the original game, but gives the graphics a major overhaul. Some bosses and enemies have also seen areas of redesign such as the first two end of stages guardians. The power up system has also been slightly changes, but largely this remains very close to the MD original, just with gameplay adjustments for the smaller handheld screen. The music does take a hit as with many GBA ports, but the songs have been adapted as best they can for the system. The game has a small amount of story which pits your country against another who decided to invade everything.
Not quite a one credit run, lost one at the last but one form of the final boss, this was only Riven's third attempt at it, as he hadn't played the game in years. This version was later remade again for the 3DS and PC and that version you can still currently buy. A rare example of a studio that got the remakes spot on and you can expect a great experience with any version of it.
