Pity Pit - PC -20 minutes of gameplay and indie game overview [UHD 4K60]
A gameplay look and briefly chat about the recently released indie title Pity Pit. A game clearly inspired by classic 80s style arcade games like Dig Dug, along with more modern titles such as Mr. Driller and Steam World Dig. Pity Pit is a very simple to pick up and play game where the aim is to rescue your kidnapped girl friend Gwendoline from the Devil Johnson!
It a very fast paced games and you have to keep moving the whole time as you are being chased by falling rocks. Which give you a instance game over should you touch them. Your goal is to reach the bottom of each stage while digging through rock, battling monsters and collecting resources and gold, scattered through each level. These can be used to upgrade and build new equipment to help you dig faster and longer, all power ups are lost on death and you find yourself back to square one.
Pity Pit is a randomly generated game changing each time you play, with only five levels it's not the biggest game out there. There is a lot of trail and error to the gameplay with the play having to learn from their mistakes to dig further than before. The not a huge amount of options or replay value, but there is a high score table, where you can do battle against the rest of the world and the game is set at a budget price.
