Today, I do some political maneuvering. By which I mean, I clear out my resolution so I can place a new one in there, and do some planning.
The Queptilium Swarm seems to have split their fleets. Combined with their wars with my near-equals the Giransu Star Hegemony and with the old and Fallen but still mighty Yldar Shard, I declare war on them. Dividing their attention along three fronts, and their fleets are similarly divided. And I mean to use the threat of the Swarm to claim the powers of Custodian, and then... not let go. And then become emperor.
Yeah. I invite you to consider how dividing problems (like Swarm fleets) and uniting people with false pretenses (the Crisis declaration) can shape the world, either for good (eliminating the Swarm) or for ill (to make myself Emperor.)
