[Stream] 2023 7DRL Let's Plays (4/7)
112023 7DRLs Batch #4: Yoko City Fire Rush, Mines Sweeper, and Feast or Fathom. (Also tried to play Return to the Stygian Abyss in there, but it was too buggy.)

Use a collection of fire fighter abilities to rescue as many civilians as possible while traveling to the ground floor in a building gradually burning down around you--all z-levels are being simulated! Could use more technical polish but the proof of concept is there and it's nice :). Dev was in chat later, too.
* 00:50:10 - Mines Sweeper (https://orion-black.itch.io/mines-swe... Yep this is about what you get if you rogueify the classic Minesweeper. It's more on the puzzle side than your typical RL, but quite well done insofar as giving you just enough abilities and knowledge to make deductions and succeed. I like the colored numbers having different meanings with regard to the composition of their surrounding cells.
* 02:01:45 - Feast or Fathom (https://thquinn.itch.io/feast-or-fath... Defeat food-themed enemies to (hopefully) get their ingredients for recipes used to restore vital resources, gain abilities, and feed customers. Also face off against rival chefs (fun writing!). A really interesting concept that's pretty well executed but could use a bit more balance and UX polish (be sure to read the itch.io page instructions!).
