2023 7DRLs Batch #7: Temptation of Saint Anthony, Bulb Against the Machines, and Loose Spirits. Also with an intro covering this year's official reviewing results, which have just come out.

Play 3rd century hermit Saint Anthony in this nonviolent roguelike that has you traveling into the desert as you balance temptation, piety, and satiety while giving away your gold and avoiding demons. Not too difficult, but great atmosphere and a short story that unfolds as you enter each new area.
* 00:53:15 - Bulb Against the Machines (https://stabalarash.itch.io/7drl-2023): A pretty typical dungeon crawler with just a handful of enemy types and lots of extra resources so winning isn't too hard, and it's a pretty quick trip to the end, but you might try it for the cute graphics and to figure out how to use the tools it gives you to most easily overcome those enemies.
* 01:46:53 - Loose Spirits (https://sportzer.itch.io/loose-spirits): Another ASCII hit from this year! Close rifts to clear a haunted house of a variety of spirits. Each spirit has unique behavior, and both the environment and your abilities are rapidly changing with every new room or corridor. Fairly complex mechanics and there's a lot to learn, but once it clicks the battles and strategy are interesting, and there are even multiple characters to pick from. Very well designed for a 7drl.

In any case I was essentially done with the 7DRLs I really wanted to play at that point, so that's it for 7DRLs this year and I'll get back to streaming other roguelikes when I can...
