With the proper special move setup, Axel has great corner carry juggles, and they can lead to touch of death combos

I use CPU keypad notation for directions; 8=up, 4=left, 6=right, 2=down, 5=neutral.
A=attack, J=jump, S=special, P=pick up,
A(hold)=press & hold A, A(rel)=release A,
BA=back attack

-after the AAAA(hold), you want to wait until Axel finishes the animation for the kick before you let the charged attack go; if you do so, he will cover much more forward ground, bringing him much closer; also, you want to kara-cancel the charged attack, ie, cancel it into his 5S before the charged attack hits

-unlike the previous combo, after the AAAA, you want to release A before the kick ends so it hits
-also unlike the previous combo, you want to cancel the 5S into S(air) later, after Axel starts to descend from the jump
