I don't seem to get why players always go for no items and an Omega Form stage, and I get it is what competitive Smash Bros. is all about, but I don't like that ruleset, when you have items on, that makes fights interesting, and if you don't have items on, I don't find it interesting, and it's even worse when opponents would always go for it, they need to fix online badly, or just separate them into two different modes, one where you can have items on, and another where items will always be off and you can fight on Omega Form stages, because that was one thing Super Smash Bros. 4 did right.
For the match itself, I use Ness, and while he is a character that I am about decent with, I had opponents where it was tricky to use PK Fire and back throw, which I find to be Ness's more reliable moves, and I would get that one player that used Min Min, and she is a difficult character to try and fight up close, as Min Min's attacks had a lot of range. My opponent in this fight uses Lucina, and I do get how overpowered her Final Smash can be when Final Smash Meter is turned on, but then again my opponent is decently good with Lucina, and we get Saffron City for the stage.
