Super Mario Land - World 1-1
This is it, the first handheld Mario game ever and also the first in a series of "Land" titles which later gave place to Wario Land. It is quite different from the console versions of Mario, probably because it was not made by Shigeru Miyamoto, but by the late Gunpei Yokoi, also known as the creator of the Game Boy. This time around, the graphics are quite primitive, after all it is on the original Game Boy, but I agree that they could have made the characters a little bit bigger. The turtles' shells now explode after you hit them. The main enemy is now an alien known as Tatanga. There is even a submarine and a space shooter levels. It's not very long to finish, but even though there are some changes to the Mario we all know, it's still a really good and classic game.
