2 years ago nekoja beat my 46:45 by 15 minutes using a ceiling clip unique to hacks with shinespark control, allowing sequence breaking of some areas and the ability to skip power bombs and final bosses.

I am now beating their 31:24 run with faster routes of Zone 2 and 3. I skipped Crocomire by doing a hell run to a secret alternate location for the Toxin Suit near the end of the zone. This skips having to go to west lab entirely, making it not worth it to collect Boost Ball. (If you're wondering why Benox stacked a missile underneath the regular Toxin Suit location, it's actually in case someone accidentally finds the suit here first, so they are not wondering why there is an item dot at Crocomire with no item.)

For Zone 3 there is a clippable PB door near the zone entrance, leading to a network of tunnels. These tunnels are intended to be a hidden convenience path around (but not through) the gates blocking the Final Ascent elevator, but this just happens to be a faster way to the backdoor of the escape where nekoja was doing the final clips.

My hair gets progressively messier throughout the run. It's been a long day. Blame the heat runs.
