I've been doing backdoor Thardus with the Twin Fires Tunnel BSJ just because it's a more interesting route. Early Spider Ball lets you get Ice Beam, which lets you go all the way through pirate labs to Gravity Suit in one trip. I'm not convinced it's actually better than backtracking labs though.

The main skips unavailable to an inbounds run are Early Ice, Early Power Bomb, and Skipping Gravity/Frigate.

Not a very good run, but I wanted to get something on the board. This game controls like ass. Also I did a dumb and didn't realize that the Chozo Ghost refight is not required to access Elder Chamber. Also Essence decided to do absolutely nothing for over a minute.
