In Super Metroid, you're likely aware of the 2 "eyes", or "eye cameras," that scan Samus with a harmless yellow light when she first lands on Zebes. The first one is next to the Morphing Ball, and the second one is 2 rooms to the right, near a Missile pack and a hidden Energy Tank in the ceiling. After Zebes is awakened, these eye-like "security cameras" disappear for the rest of the game.

But, did you know that the game contains a third, hidden eye? The only way to find this third eye is by utilizing major glitches, hacks, or cheat codes.

In this video, I show you how to find the hidden "third eye" using a well-known glitch. Then, I demonstrate a way to visualize the hidden eye camera ITSELF using an obscure graphical glitch.

This is by no means a “new discovery” (not even remotely close)... I just felt that this was a relatively lesser-known fact among the Metroid community at large, so I made this video, for those of you that haven't seen this yet. :)

Enjoy! And thank you, Deer Force, even though this wasn't intended to be found. Even your cut content from earlier in development was creative. ;)
