And so once again departing from our ship, we venture into the old Brinstar one last time, before venturing into the deeper depths of Norfair, and head into Ridley's lair to face off against him, acquiring the screw attack along the way, and then soon facing off against him for technically a third time. But then after defeating him we find the busted case of the infant Metroid, but there is a reward in the form of a hidden energy tank in the room. After that, there is only one destination left to go. So venturing back through some of the locations one final time, we find a room I skipped over from the start, the giant golden statue of the four main bosses.


With them defeated, the gems break and the color fades, and the statue sinks, opening the way to the new Tourian depths, where the final confrontation awaits in the final part. We're armed to the teeth, with 12 energy tanks, three reserve tanks, 130 missiles, 25 super missiles, and 35 super bombs. It ain't 100% of everything, but we're pretty darn close and it'll serve us well.
