We start off intense and yeah, we're have confirmed reality isn't what it is here. We encounter Emperor Beld, and yet Ashram was the one who had to be revived? Beld had met his end long before Ashram did. Regardless though, Beld makes a pass and offer to Deedlit to join him, while making a statement that has way more merit than you realize, only hallow by the fact it's from a dead man who's making the statement. Deedlit isn't wrong that Beld's dream and vision wouldn't die with him, since Ashram would go about attempting to continue his legacy with Beld's sword. After obtaining the enhanced double jump which makes us soar real high, we suddenly find ourselves face to face with Pirotess.

She sets the record straight on how this place really isn't reality, and Deedlit starts to realize this is a fabrication of her own division somehow although is grappling with the fact she had even done so. And all of this pertains to Parn's well being. Pirotess evades her question though, but since her mission is done, she has no further reason to fight, but yet she hasn't actually left yet. With this in mind though, we eventually find Ashram in a room that's roughly a royal court gathering room of sorts. Either way, here Deedlit attempts to strike his ego by proclaiming he's not the real deal, only a fake born from Parn's blood after he quips how they both search makes them alike.

He plans to remedy that truth by proving it with his sword and cut us down, and so begins our long awaited boss fight with Ashram that was teased at the end of the early access demo with him being revived. He is basically Beld 2.0 as he uses a number of the same moves, but with his own spin an additional attack at the end of each, while using Pirotess chain restraint and knife tossing tactics as well as his own moveset. He is a tough one, not gonna lie. But then...the unexpected happens.

After getting so badly battered he suddenly becomes unstable in a bit of a gruesome fashion and turns into essentially a super zombie, while his existence is a bit off kilter. We now have to fend off against Imperfect Ashram, and he is no less deadly, if not more so than regular Ashram. He has several new attacks atop of well, grabbing you and biting you. But he has moves that remind me of other bosses. Such as turning into two mists and going around a set portion of the room in a circle sort of like a boss from X6, and him spewing a lot of what I assume to be "acid" which kind of reminds me of the "Space Jockey" Xenomorph from Aliens Infestation for DS. In essence "zombie Sigma" from X 6 wishes he was this formidable as Imperfect Ashram.

Either way, upon his defeat, Pirotess had witnessed the fight and oddly in a bizarre way this was what she wanted? It's hard to say exactly since Deedlit never asked her for clarification but with the revived Ashram defeated, Pirotess actually departs from this world. With this in mind though, we encounter Parn again and unlock one of second to last door sets in the game and we venture into the final area, and it is intense as all get out. And we make our last purchase from Ghim to get the best sword in the game. It dishes out good damage at an insanely fast rate which is crucial.
