After the last battle, we find the remaining spirit keys, and do a little sequence break via an elaborate bounce trick Deedlit can do with the heavy weapons upon enemies, and are able to get the Efreet spirit before we'd get the Efreet spirit. However we have a rematch with Karla and venture into what's essentially a coliseum of sorts with catacombs. Here we finally catch up with Parn, only for him to get stabbed in the back by Pirotess and die without uttering a word. Pirotess now has what she needs to revive Ashram, and Deedlit isn't happy. Perhaps the most angry we've ever seen her in the series as a whole.


After getting a mermaid statue ala Symphony of the Night, we're able to breathe underwater. Of which there aren't that many spots to go swimming in but otherwise some areas are impassable without it. Soon though we're confronted by Narse, another of the major dragons that had fallen in battle. This guy wrecked me initially upon first encountering him but I finally managed to get his pattern down safely and take minimal damage the whole fight where as before I'd just get hammered.
