Super Scope 6 / Nintendo Scope 6 - Super Nintendo - Showcase of all games [HD 1080p60]
A short look at all six mini-games included on the Super Scope pack in title, which was never sold separately. The Super Scope was the SNES answer to the zapper, however its huge size, awkwardness to use and the fact that it required six AA batteries which it emptied very quickly. Meant the device didn't catch on or sell well any where in the world. As a result of these issues there's only a handful of games that support it and only two must have titles in the form of Battleclash and it's sequel Metal Combat Falcon's Revenge. Both of which were also developed by Intelligent Systems who also did the Super Scope Six.
Super Scope Six is a mixed bag of mini-games three are based on combat ship shooting, while the other three are puzzle based. One game draws from Tetris another takes from columns and the third is whack a mole and also the most fun game on the set. With no save system for your high scores or to save your game progress, it's a bit of a damp squid in terms of last ability for the title and uses will be wanting to play another scope game very quickly.
As with all light guns from the 90s the Super Scope only works on old CRT TVs. There are however mods beginning to appear that will allow it and other light guns to work on LCD screens. Currently we are unable to direct capture from a Super Scope game apart from the attract mode, so this was recorded on the SNES9X emulator. If you want to capture a light gun you need either a CRT TV or PVM monitor that can output or pass through it's video signal to another device. An AV Distribution Amplifiers that can spit and output a video signal to multiple devices at once or to reserve engineer the signal down a cheap one way splitter, some people have got this to work with some models. In the latter two cases you will still need a CRT TV also.
