I use Zero Suit Samus to go through All-Star Mode, and for her Alt. Trophies in both versions, the 3DS version uses her 3rd alternate costume, which for some reason on the Smash Wiki, it is the red alternate costume, but I see it as more of a pink costume than red, it was pink in Brawl. Her Wii U Alt. Trophy uses her white alternate costume, that is the 6th costume.
In All-Star Mode, damage you deal to your opponents is increased, and the best you can do with Zero Suit Samus is use her down smash to stun the opponent, and then follow it up with a forward smash to KO them, her Flip Jump can also be good for damage, even if the controls for that move isn't that easy to make use of. You take less damage and knockback from moves, with stage hazards keeping their regular knockback, and there is one reward for completing All-Star Mode with Zero Suit Samus without using healing items, this is best done on Easy, there are some where it has to be done on Normal or Hard, like Captain Falcon.
I will go over All-Star Mode and which characters you fight against.
Round 1 (2015-2007): Corrin, Greninja, Lucina, Robin, Dark Pit, Shulk, Bayonetta, Wii Fit Trainer, Rosalina & Luma
Round 2 (2006-2001): Lucario, Lucas, Ike, Zero Suit Samus, Toon Link, Bowser Jr., Roy, Olimar, Villager
Round 3 (1998-1994): Ganondorf, Sheik, Cloud, Jigglypuff, Charizard, Pikachu, Mewtwo, Diddy Kong, Ness
Round 4 (1993-1991): Meta Knight, Falco, Fox, Wario, King Dedede, Kirby, Sonic
Round 5 (1990-1986): Captain Falcon, Yoshi, Dr. Mario, Marth, Mega Man, Ryu, Palutena, Pit
Round 6 (1986-1984): Samus, Zelda, Link, Bowser, Peach, R.O.B., Duck Hunt Duo
Round 7 (1984-1980): Little Mac, Luigi, Donkey Kong, Mario, Pac-Man, Mr. Game & Watch

As I went over with Samus in All-Star Mode, and there being two Metroid series stages, when fighting Zero Suit Samus, along with other characters that made their debut in 2006-2001, the stage Pyrosphere appears, and this one is a stage that did not return in Ultimate, and Ridley does not appear on Pyrosphere in All-Star Mode. Ridley goes through many different things, he is a background character in Super Smash Bros. 64, he appears in the Intro for Melee, he is a boss in Brawl, a stage boss in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, and a playable character in Ultimate, and the removal of Pyrosphere is because Ridley, who is a stage boss, is a playable character in Ultimate. Other stages that can appear are Mario Circuit, Castle Siege, Garden of Hope, Town and City, Smashville, or Pirate Ship, and in the 3DS version, only three stages can appear, those are 3D Land, Tortimer Island, or Distant Planet.
Zero Suit Samus's Final Smash Trophy, which is listed as Gunship (Final Smash), as the Gunship does have its own Trophy in this game. With Gunship, you can fire up to five shots, the Gunship does appear in her Final Smash in Ultimate where it was changed to Zero Laser, where she fires a large laser that deals a lot of damage.
