The next character I use for All-Star Mode is Samus, and it is a good thing I chose to play it on Normal and not on Hard, because characters that are more reliant on projectiles tend to have a difficult time, but I did see that I had one match where Samus's Charge Shot when fully charged dealt 50% damage, I was sure it dealt around 25%, because I did read somewhere that projectiles are not affected by the damage increase. The best Samus has for non-projectile moves is her up tilt and her down smash, and she does have Screw Attack for getting in some damage. The good thing about All-Star Moe is that you take less damage and knockback from your opponents, but you do have to watch out for their projectile moves, but what's more dangerous than that is stage hazards.
I will go over All-Star Mode and which characters you fight against.
Round 1 (2015-2007): Corrin, Greninja, Lucina, Robin, Dark Pit, Shulk, Bayonetta, Wii Fit Trainer, Rosalina & Luma
Round 2 (2006-2001): Lucario, Lucas, Ike, Zero Suit Samus, Toon Link, Bowser Jr., Roy, Olimar, Villager
Round 3 (1998-1994): Ganondorf, Sheik, Cloud, Jigglypuff, Charizard, Pikachu, Mewtwo, Diddy Kong, Ness
Round 4 (1993-1991): Meta Knight, Falco, Fox, Wario, King Dedede, Kirby, Sonic
Round 5 (1990-1986): Captain Falcon, Yoshi, Dr. Mario, Marth, Mega Man, Ryu, Palutena, Pit
Round 6 (1986-1984): Samus, Zelda, Link, Bowser, Peach, R.O.B., Duck Hunt Duo
Round 7 (1984-1980): Little Mac, Luigi, Donkey Kong, Mario, Pac-Man, Mr. Game & Watch

Being one of the classic characters that debuted in 1986, along with The Legend of Zelda and Kid Icarus, despite the Kid Icarus series only in the 1990-1986 set, and Metroid being in the 1986-1984, well it would have too many characters in there. The Metroid series has two stages for the Wii U version and only one in the 3DS version, and when fighting Samus on All-Star Mode, along with other characters that debuted in 1986-1984, the Wii U version has Norfair, while the 3DS version has Brinstar. For other stages, in the Wii U version, other stages include Mushroom Kingdom U, Mario Circuit (Brawl), Skyloft, Duck Hunt, Wrecking Crew, Peach's Castle (64), and Hyrule Castle (64), while the 3DS version has Golden Plains, Mushroomy Kingdom, Gerudo Valley, Peach's Castle (64), Hyrule Castle (64), and Duck Hunt.
About Samus's Alt. Trophies, the 3DS version uses her Light Suit, while the Wii U version uses Dark Samus's colour scheme. The Dark Samus colour scheme was replaced by a different black alternate costume, as Dark Samus was made as her own playable character. For Samus's Final Smash Trophy, it has her shooting the Zero Laser upward.
