I use Ike in this video, and I go through All-Star Mode with him, and Ike works well with the increased damage against opponents, as it takes one or two smash attacks to KO opponents, and you can make use of his other moves like Aether and many others for getting in some damage, I wasn't sure whether to do it on Hard mode, but decided to stick to Normal, Ike is one of few characters that has the best time on Hard mode. You do take less damage and knockback from your opponent's attacks, which is good for Ike as he is one of the heavier characters in this game, but you do have to watch out for stage hazards.
For his Alt. Trophies, in the 3DS version, Ike uses his yellow alternate costume, that is his 2nd costume, while the Wii U version uses his black costume, that is his 7th alternate costume.
I will go over All-Star Mode and which characters you fight against.
Round 1 (2015-2007): Corrin, Greninja, Lucina, Robin, Dark Pit, Shulk, Bayonetta, Wii Fit Trainer, Rosalina & Luma
Round 2 (2006-2001): Lucario, Lucas, Ike, Zero Suit Samus, Toon Link, Bowser Jr., Roy, Olimar, Villager
Round 3 (1998-1994): Ganondorf, Sheik, Cloud, Jigglypuff, Charizard, Pikachu, Mewtwo, Diddy Kong, Ness
Round 4 (1993-1991): Meta Knight, Falco, Fox, Wario, King Dedede, Kirby, Sonic
Round 5 (1990-1986): Captain Falcon, Yoshi, Dr. Mario, Marth, Mega Man, Ryu, Palutena, Pit
Round 6 (1986-1984): Samus, Zelda, Link, Bowser, Peach, R.O.B., Duck Hunt Duo
Round 7 (1984-1980): Little Mac, Luigi, Donkey Kong, Mario, Pac-Man, Mr. Game & Watch

About when I said that no Fire Emblem stage appears when fighting Marth, there are only two stages from that series in the Wii U version, and I do like how Castle Siege appears when fighting Ike and other characters that debuted in 2006-2001, because Ike did make his Smash debut in Brawl, and Castle Siege was a stage that first appeared in Brawl, so I can see why that would go well. The other stages where you would fight Ike and other characters in the Wii U version are Mario Circuit, Pyrosphere, Garden of Hope, Town and City, Smashville, and Pirate Ship, and in the 3DS version, the stages are 3D Land, Distant Planet, and Tortimer Island.
Ike's Final Smash Trophy, Great Aether, displays blue flames coming from his sword, and about when I put in the description how the Final Smash Trophies in this game use the same appearance from Brawl, and this is a really powerful Final Smash, as it can KO opponents after it connects, even on stages where the top platform is close to the blast zone.
