The next DLC character is now available, and this is the second to last DLC update, the character is Kazuya Mishima, he is from the Tekken series, which is called Iron Fist in Japan. Tekken was developed by Bandai Namco, the first game released in 1994 on Arcade, and 1995 for the PlayStation. Tekken has had a crossover with Street Fighter in 2012, that game is Street Fighter x Tekken, and while Kazuya was added as a playable character in this game, there is representation of Tekken in some way, which is a Mii Costume for Heihachi, which was added in a DLC update.
There will not be any online matches for this week, so this video will take its place, because I know there will be a lot of players using Kazuya, so I will wait till next week, where there won't be too many players using him online.
In this video, I will be going over Kazuya's Classic Mode Route, it is called Fighting Fists With Fists, which references Kazuya's fighting style in Tekken, and his opponents on this route are characters that fight with their fists, the first round opponent is Ryu, and the stage is Mishima Dojo, which is the stage included with Kazuya. It is a flat stage with walls blocking off the blast zones, and you can break the walls if you deal enough damage to them, it does look like an interesting stage, but I wouldn't put it up there in my favourites, Heihachi appears as a background character for this stage.
Kazuya's Classic Mode Route are all Stamina Battles except for the 6th and last battles, his second opponent is Captain Falcon, and the stage is Port Town Aero Dive in Omega Mode, the third round he fights Little Mac on Boxing Ring, his fourth round is against Donkey Kong and King K. Rool on Gaur Plain in Omega Mode, the fifth match is against Lucario on Spear Pillar, likely a reference to Pokkén Tournament, as it is a Pokémon fighting game inspired by Tekken, and Lucario is a playable character in Pokkén Tournament.
The sixth battle is a Horde Battle against six Mii Brawlers, which wear the Bionic Helmet and Bionic Armor, and the stage is Fourside in Omega Mode. Next is the Bonus Stage, and at the end, you don't fight a boss, you fight Kazuya on the underground part of Castle Siege, and after defeating your opponent, you then fight Metal Kazuya.
After completing Classic Mode with Kazuya, we get the credits, which plays Kazuya Mishima, Devil Kazuya, and that is the new remix. 39 songs from Tekken were included into this game, making it the second most songs from a series, behind King of Fighters which added 50 songs. You get the Fighter Spirit for Kazuya's Gi costume, and you can buy his Coat outfit in the shop. Kazuya has his Gi costume and his Coat costume, and he has four alternate costumes for each.
I can go over a bit about Kazuya, he has a lot of combo moves, you can press A 10 times to use 10-Hit Combo, and it will take a lot of time to go over every move he has, but I will go over his Fighter Ability, when Kazuya is at 100% damage, or 25% of his total health in Stamina Mode, he will enter Rage mode, which boosts his attack power by 1.1, but it will end if Kazuya takes a certain amount of damage, and can only be triggered once per stock, Kazuya has Tough Body which makes him resist hitstun.
Next is to go over his special moves, his neutral special is Devil Blaster, where he shoots a laser blast at his opponents, it is kind of like R.O.B.'s Robo Beam where you can aim it up or down, Kazuya goes into his devil form for some of his moves, including his forward smash. His side special is Devil Fist, where he lunges at his opponent to immobilize them, and it can be used for recovery. His up special is Devil Wings, where he will rise upward, and he will not be helpless for a while, as you can air dodge after using it, and if used up close to the opponent, it will have high KO potential, much like Luigi's Super Jump Punch. Kazuya's down special is Heaven's Door, where he grabs his opponent and slams them down to the ground, and when Rage is active, he will use Rage Drive, which deals even more knockback, and it ignores shields.
Kazuya's Final Smash is Final Blaster, where he will use Devil Blaster at the opponent, and if anyone is caught in the attack, a cinematic will play where Kazuya turns into his devil form and shoots more beams from his wings and chest, which cover a wide range and damages any foes caught in the attack.
