You might be wondering where my online matches for this week are, I have decided not to do them for this week, so instead I have the video where I play Classic Mode with Kazuya Mishima, the most recent DLC character added into the game, and this Online Tourney, which for some reason doesn't tie in with Kazuya. This one is themed around characters and stages that originated in games released between 2010 and 2019.
Here are the following characters that can be selected for this Tourney:
Lucina, Chrom, Dark Pit, Greninja, Robin, Shulk, Corrin, Inkling, Isabelle, Incineroar, Joker, Byleth, Min Min, Steve, Pyra/Mythra
Then we have the following stages that can appear in this Tourney:
Big Battlefield, 3D Land, Golden Plains, Unova Pokémon League, Prism Tower, Arena Ferox, Reset Bomb Forest, Tortimer Island, Living Room, StreetPass Quest/Find Mii, Mushroom Kingdom U, Mario Circuit, Skyloft, Kalos Pokémon League, Gamer, Garden of Hope, Gaur Plain, Windy Hill Zone, Super Mario Maker, New Donk City Hall, Great Plateau Tower, Moray Towers

A lot of characters that made their first playable Smash appearance in Smash 4 and Ultimate, as well as stages, are the ones that appear in this Online Tourney, and Hero cannot be used, despite the default Hero being from Dragon Quest XI, and there being other tournaments based around the decade where Hero couldn't be used, and DLC stages cannot appear, so that means Mementos, Yggdrasil's Altar, Garreg Mach Monastery, Spring Stadium, Minecraft World, and Cloud Sea of Alrest are not present, even though they originated from games released around the 2010s.
This Online Tourney has the usual rules, it is a Time Battle that lasts for 2 minutes and 30 seconds, Items are set to Medium, Final Smash Meter is turned on, and you will earn a Spirit for participating.
In tournaments which allow a select roster, I usually select the character, but I decided to go with Random for this one, and I got Inkling for this one, I would have preferred to have played as Chrom, Shulk, or even Corrin for this one, but I picked random and I get to use Inkling for this Online Tourney. While the roster for this Online Tourney isn't that large, there were three players that used Greninja, two of the players were in my starting bracket, the other bracket had two players using Isabelle, and another player using Inkling, but at least there was one player using Shulk, and said player is in my starting bracket, so there wasn't much character variety, not even the DLC characters were picked in this one.
The stages we got for this one were Mushroom Kingdom U and Mario Circuit, and while I do keep track of which stages have appeared during 2021 in my online matches, this is the first time in any of my online matches during 2021 that Mario Circuit has appeared, I usually try not to count Online Tourneys and instead count normal online battles, but I have that as an alternative as well.
