After Byleth and the Black Eagle's victory in the Battle of the Eagle and Lion, he receives his next task, there is some trouble going on in Remire Village, which was where Byleth first met the house leaders. Byleth then comes across Hubert and Edelgard talking about the strange occurances happening in the Monastery lately, and they could be connected to the incident in Remire Village.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

We get so many scenes before we explore the Monastery, at the start, Byleth and his father talk with Manuela about some strange incidents happening in Remire Village, which was where Byleth first met Edelgard and the other house leaders, and after all of that, Byleth teaches class before even exploring at the start of the month.
Then we get another scene where Byleth finds Edelgard and Hubert at the Dining Hall, where they talk about her ascending the Imperial throne, and then Byleth comes in and they talk about how the incident in Remire Village could be connected to Flayn's kidnapping and the Western Church.
Then it is time to explore the Monastery, and starting from Chapter 8, you can recruit Manuela and Hanneman, and in order to do that, you need to have Byleth at least Level 15, which you should have by now.
This chapter has a bunch of sidequests, one is a battle quest from Felix, one is from a student outside the Cathedral, you have to give a Reverent Love Letter to Rhea, and then talk to the student to complete the quest.
The next quest is from Seteth, where you have to pick up a Missing Student Poster, which is located at the dormitory near the greenhouse, pick it up and return to Seteth to complete the quest.
The next one is a two sided quest, you have to talk to either Shamir or Catherine, you can accept both quests, but you can only complete one of them. The first is the Book of Crestological Mysteries, which is near them, and you have to trade the items with other characters, so you have to give that to Hanneman, he gives you a Tome of Comely Saints, which you have to give to Manuela for for a Fire Amulet, give that to Cyril for a Glowing Stone, then you have to give that to Mercedes for The Path of Dawn, which can be give to Marianne for Medicinal Eyedrops, give that to Linhardt for Two-Toned Whetstone, then return to Catherine and Shamir and give it to one of them, you get a Silver Sword if you complete Catherine's quest, or a Silver Bow if you complete Shamir's quest, but you can only give it to one of them.
Interesting bit of trivia about the items are references to past Fire Emblem games, and in my playthrough on other routes if you watched them, Crests are called Emblems in Japan, and in some localizations of other games, the Crest of Flames translates to Fire Emblem.
I will list each item and which Fire Emblem game they reference.
Book of Crestological Mysteries: Mystery of the Emblem
Tome of Comely Saints: Genealogy of the Holy War
Fire Amulet: Binding Blade
Glowing Stone: The Sacred Stones
The Path of Dawn: Path of Radiance / Radiant Dawn
Medicinal Eyedrops: Awakening
Two-Toned Whetstone: Fates

It will take a lot of description space to go over Hanneman and Manuela, and if there is one thing I have to say, they are outclassed by better units, but you can give them a go and see how well they do, Hanneman is a Mage, and Manuela is a Priest, and they both learn siege tomes, Hanneman learns Meteor at A+ Rank in Reason, and Manuela learns Bolting at A Rank in Reason.
For possible classes, Hanneman should master Mage to get Fiendish Blow, and you could make him an Archer, although he doesn't have that good of a strength stat, but if you can get a Magic Bow for him, he can make good use of it. For his final class, Warlock or Dark Knight are ideal classes for him, Dark Knight if you can work on his Riding skill, and as he is a male magic user, if you have a Dark Seal, you can make him a Dark Mage.
Manuela is a weird case, she is a magic user with a Reason bane, so it will not be easy for her to go into Gremory, you can get Fiendish Blow from Mage, or you can make her a Swordmaster or Falcon Knight for her final class, you will want to master Pegasus Knight for Darting Blow, and for her best class, Bishop is the best she can go with, because getting Manuela to Gremory is not going to be an easy task with that bane in Reason, the one advantage Manuela has is that she can get Warp as a Faith spell, the downside is she cannot learn Physic.
I will list which units have different dialogue based on the route or if you have them recruited, Linhardt and Dorothea are those units, and on Black Eagles, Monica does have dialogue if you talk to Hubert, otherwise on other routes, she doesn't say anything.
Then for lost items in this month, I will list the units:
Claude (Golden Deer only), Linhardt, Bernadetta, Dorothea, Sylvain, Mercedes, Lorenz, Leonie, Seteth, Flayn, Manuela, Alois, Cyril
