This was something that I decided to try out, and it is CPU Battles, what I do is I go to Random.org, type up every playable character in the game, Mii Fighters cannot be used, randomize the list, and the first four characters on that list have to battle against each other, and by the way, there will not be any online matches for this week, as that will take its place.
Items are turned on, the CPUs are at Level 9, Final Smash Meter is turned on, and I am allowing all stages. I did something similar in Pokémon Sword & Shield, but I lost interest in that due to how much time it took to get everything for it, but with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, this can be done quick and easy, I randomize a list, then choose the characters, and the battle starts. I initially went with two stock, but decided to change it to three stock, which you will see in the third match, as I found that to be better than going with two stock.
The inspiration behind that was through Twitch Plays Pokémon, when they did Alpha Sapphire around six or seven years ago, they had Super Smash Bros. for Wii U as a side game, so I decided to try something like that, but with this game, as there are more characters and stages than in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, and I might do something similar in Super Smash Bros. 64 if ever that gets added to Nintendo 64 - Nintendo Switch Online.
I have included timestamps for each of the battles, if you want to view a battle, you can click on the timstamps to see them.
00:00 Battle 1: Sonic, Incineroar, Villager, Mewtwo
02:11 Battle 2: Byleth, Pit, Diddy Kong, Ice Climbers
04:18 Battle 3: Sonic, Ken, Banjo & Kazooie, Ganondorf
08:03 Battle 4: Terry, King Dedede, Ryu, Captain Falcon
11:40 Battle 5: Mewtwo, Snake, Ice Climbers, Robin

I have the stages and music that played in those matches, as those appeared in the following matches.
Fountain of Dreams: Gourmet Race (64)
Dream Land GB: Butter Building (for 3DS / Wii U)
Wuhu Island: Filled with Hope
Smashville: Title Theme: Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer
Town and City: Town Hall and Tom Nook's Store - Animal Crossing: Wild World
