A new update for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is now live, and it includes the next DLC character for the Fighter Pass, this character is Terry Bogard from Fatal Fury, which was developed by SNK, and he comes with his home stage called King of Fighters Stadium, and yes that is the name of Terry's home stage. There is also something really big about it, the Fatal Fury universe has added 50 songs into this game, this is the largest amount of songs of any DLC universe to ever happen in the Super Smash Bros. series, and most of which are from different SNK games, like Fatal Fury, Samurai Showdown, Metal Slug, The King of Fighters, and many others, and fun fact, the King of Fighters was actually the inspiration behind the Super Smash Bros. series, as King of Fighters had many types of fighters in one battle, so Masahiro Sakurai wanted to do the same thing, but with Nintendo characters, and other gaming characters.
As for Terry Bogard himself, he is a bit like Ryu and Ken in which he will always face his opponent, and he is a good combo character, in which he can start with weak attacks and follow up with a powerful special move. His Neutral Special is Power Wave, and if you hold down the Special button, Terry's Power Wave will be more powerful, and he has two different Side Specials, Forward Special is Burning Knuckle, where Terry charges into the opponent, and if you input the command, it will have increased knockback, and it is the same command as Hadoken, and his Back Special is Crack Shoot, which is like a flying axe kick and is more powerful if you perform the command.
Terry's Up Special is Rising Tackle, and he does gain invincibility if you hold Down on the control stick, and if you hold down B, you can gain more distance, but Terry does not have that good recovery, and his Down Special is Power Dunk, this move is really powerful in which he will jump diagonally and then strike the opponent, and it will be more powerful if you input the Shoryuken command.
Terry's Final Smash is Triple Wolf, which is a combination of Triple Geyser, Power Dunk, and Max Buster Wolf.
One thing unique to Terry is that if he is over 100% damage or 1/3 HP in Stamina battle, he can perform two very powerful attacks, Power Geyser, which is an even more powerful version of Power Wave, and Buster Wolf is a more powerful version of Burning Knuckle.
With another character originating from a fighting game, Terry is one character that can put in some good combos, and I do go up against another Terry player, as well as Banjo & Kazooie on Windy Hill Zone, without the Final Smash Meter, so we will see how well I do with Terry Bogard in this fight.
