Switch 2 - The conclusion after one week
249They say good relationships are based on acceptance. And what haven't we accepted in eight years of Switch! Eight years! 2017 felt like only two years ago. But okay. Gritty textures, Joy-Con drift, and agonizingly long loading times, in which you could not only make a coffee but also bake an entire cake. And despite that—or perhaps precisely because of that—we've grown fond of it.
Now that the Switch 2 is available, it's time to say goodbye. We can finally play Breath of the Wild the way the developers intended. Pokemon runs without the Switch dying of a heart attack, and everything is now more colorful, sometimes even in 4K, and we now have an even larger monitor for using the bathroom on the go! Thanks, Switch, for sticking with us all these years, but the knacker is waiting for you! Or maybe not? Maybe you don't need a Switch 2? Or at least not yet, so you can continue to care for and nurture your tortured old Switch. Let's find out!
