A free doujin fighting game (not developed with any known game creation kit) developed by a group known as "Rings", and it prides itself on its flexibility when creating combos. You can set various options in its config, set up an "Easy Mode" where moves can be done with nothing more than a single direction and button press, and the game is very accessible to those new to fighters. However, a few small things plague this otherwise so-so fighting game.

While the game has various options, it's missing a few key features. One is the ability to turn down damage. Opponents are dead before you know it. Another is to set the rate for gaining Kiai (your special gauge/canel energy); it fills too slow and to add insult to injury, you lose any you've gained the next round, so pulling off cool combos like the ones you do in practice mode is unlikely in actual matches unless you stall (dashing forward is oddly one of the few ways to build Kiai without killing your opponent).

The game has six somewhat eccentric characters (one who has what appears to be no super moves) who can pull off combos, combo-break, cancel attacks into other attacks on a whim (at the cost of some Kiai) and juggle a fair bit. With some work, this game could be pretty decent, especially since it appears to be made from the ground up. As is, it feels somewhat underwhelming and a little uninspired.

In this video, I use Soar Green. You can get the game at Rings' website and get the latest version (seems to be a patch or upgrade perhaps) at:

^ Click the button/image that looks like a flash drive/USB Pen drive a little ways down on the page.

You can get the game directly at:
