An excellent but kinda easy KoF game, R-2 was the first KoF game released in the U.S. for the NGPC (R-1 was only released in Japan and European territories). It has lots of cool unlockables and secrets with all the awesome fighting of other KoF games. You can even play with the Orochi characters, Yashiro, Shermie, and Chris.

The game starts on hard by default, but you probably wouldn't be able to tell. The A.I. has to "wake up" before they get serious, meaning you can get free hits at the start of every round as they'll just stand defenseless for two or three seconds. You can also change a characters entry statements, which is always good for a laugh. This video shows a few fights with Kasumi. She needs more love! Enjoy.

Video Notes: There is no effective way to record the NGPC as many are aware, so this was obviously emulated. However, because we own the original game and system, we'll be able to let people know how accurate the game is to the original while offering a higher quality video. We encourage you to buy the hardware and software before even thinking about emulation.

As far as emulation, this game is emulated pretty well. The game runs at its normal framerate and the controls are every bit as responsive. The only problem is the music. A few of the bleeps and bloops sound off at times and the music is slower like most other NGPC emulated games, but it is good overall.
