Starting a playthrough of Nightdive studio's remaster of the immersive sim classic! This is the game that flung the doors wide open for games like Bioshock, Deus Ex, Dishonored, Deathloop even I would argue Cyberpunk 2077. With its emergent storytelling and spooky horror elements combined with deep character customization and playstyle choice, this game was a revelation of what could be possible in games going forward. 20 years later, I'm super stoked to run this game again. After Nightdive's amazing work with the System Shock remake, I have every confidence that this remaster will also be a banger! So let's hop on to the Von Braun and see what there is to see! But can it really live up to the hype and the warm glow of nostalgia? Answer: yes, it can!
