That's a bizarre spot to use a super.

This level is full of quirky spots that just don't work out like they feel like they should. After the initial slopeboost, there's a spot with a little slope it feels like you should be able to slopeboost on. You can't. With the speed you're moving you don't even manage to fall parallel to the slope before touching the ground. Stuff like that.

And so, another good one: the best spot we've managed to find for the super is during that climb on the left side. It gives you another jump and makes it so you don't need to stop to clean that dust on the top left. That's it. Still faster than using it at the end, even with a three-heavy ending. Speaking of the three-heavy ending, one of the top live runs uses a two-heavy ending, but we get there too fast for that because of enemy cycles. Boo, enemy cycles. :(

An older version of this TAS has been around for a while, but TheBirdOfPrey found a few improvements (read: ceiling boosts) that, with some additional cleanup, saved 8 frames going into the ending and, due to enemy cycles, saved another 2 frames in the ending. Yay enemy cycles! :D
