I've heard plutonia's call again few days ago and
almost decided to rebuild my single-player movie
once again after noticing some flaws in the
earlier maps. So i started studying maps again
and noticed a weird map02 route which requires
thingrunning to the yellow key. Haven't tested it
with monsters yet, but it seems to be ~2sec
slower, mainly because there is a need to waste
seconds to retrace steps to the yellow key again.
Naturally, this shortcut is faster for coop-run,
which gave me an idea to try the impossible:
a full-built 2-way coop plutonia movie. Let's see
how much will i endure before quitting in
frustration.
On the run itself - right from the beginning
there is an obvious coop buddyrunning exploit.
This is the first time i'm doing it, so i was
a bit concerned about how it would turn out,
since the floor isn't flat and players' starts
aren't placed right next to each other. Luckily,
it wasn't too hard to line everything up, and it
sure is fun to witness! Thanks to Looper again
for discovering this amazing trick. I also do
some wallrunning on the stairs, which i didn't
do in my singleplayer movie.
