NOTE: This video is to demonstrate the game in action - not my lack of skills at a Capcom fighting game so STFU if that is all you're going to say.

Tatsunoko vs Capcom is the long delayed follow up to the previously thought dead Capcom Vs fighting series. In Europe, we had to wait for over a year before they eventually got round to releasing our own translated version for PAL consoles but our paitence rewarded us with online play and extra characters aswell. Hurray!

As for the game itself, it follows the same OTT rules first presented by Marvel Vs Capcom 2. The buttons have been simplified further to suit the numerous Wii control schemes, I used a classic controller on this video. TVC also naturally introduces a couple of new combat features like baroque combos to the mix aswell. Besides that, the whole game is rendered in a beautifully cel-shaded artform.

Though despite this I'm not too fond of TVC. I find that eversince Capcom has thrown the rulebook out of the window with MVC 2, they've attracted the wrong sort of players to their games. In both MVC 2 and TVC it is very much possible to and made it possible to use basic juggles from the beginning of one match to the end, sort of like in the recent Tekken games come to think of it.

But I suppose most of you wouldn't care for such things and admittedly Tatsunoko vs Capcom is one of the few fighting games that can be found on Wii. I'd say DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and Guilty Gear XX Accent Core are better games yer neither don't get anywhere near as much exposure as TVC. I guess that is what you come to expect from game journalists building hype over anything with a brand name.
