68Dead Paradise 4 is a another sequel of Dead Paradise game series. After our heroes have saved people from the zombie apocalypse, they must not infiltrate an abandoned lab for their supplies. Dead Paradise 4 has our heroes continue their journey and they have to fight more hordes of the undead and more cybernetic enemies. Trek the deeper bowels of the lab to gain more supplies to fight the undead.
Aesthetics:
Dead Paradise 4 has very good quality in terms of the art. It’s not your typical game art especially for these kinds of games. They are very polished with good quality and with fluent animation. You could also visually see the difference between the foreground and the background. You are also treated to nice opening with good art. There is no dialogue but there are texts to accompany the scene. The music itself is very generic but good. It makes you feel ready to face the zombie apocalypse. It has that nice adrenaline pumping theme to it where you would want to play the game.
Gameplay:
Dead Paradise 4 allows the player to control their character that is riding a car or a vehicle. When controlling the car they have to make the car move from left to right. The players have a gun but the gun will fire automatically at the enemies. The gun though will only fire at enemies at a certain range. The car’s gun as well can’t fire on all enemies on the screen which is why you can always aim it. Try to aim the gun from the left or to the right side since enemies come from both sides and all angles. Players can also use rockets that are stronger than the gun. The rockets though are limited which is why you have to use them sparingly. There are enemies on the level that you have to get rid of but you don’t need to get rid of all the enemies. In the level there are also items you can pick up. You can pick up health items to restore your car’s health. There are also the fuel tanks that you can take to refill your car’s fuel. If your car runs out of fuel, the level will fail. There are also rockets that you can take that gives you more rockets. The more enemies you kill means the more stars you gain. Each level can grant you from 1 to 3 stars. You can always redo a level if you want to get a 3 star rating. The money you get can be used for upgrading your car. Your car can be upgraded by giving it a stronger gun, stronger armor, more life, and resistance to acid. You can also buy and unlock different cars to use that also come with their own upgrades and some of them come from the previous games. Trek through the different levels and make your car stronger and take down the hordes of the undead.
