I finished dismantling the machine - it comes apart quite nicely: the expansion interface board and keyboard are connected via sockets - a joy!

I gave the boards a careful wash in warm, soapy water so they're a lot cleaner now.

I have to drive down to Sydney tomorrow (Thursday, about 400km) for night work so will continue ... i.e. attempt powering on ... when I return on Friday evening.

I will take the BASIC ROM Module with me so I can measure the PCB size for the replacement MEGA Module that I'm re-creating (all credit to the original designer - whoever they are).

{My high school English teacher would be horrified with each section sentence with "I" ... terrible writing}
