Before anything else, this video is dedicated to Brian Shaji. We’ve been through so much together and we are going to change this world for the better, brother. I know it.

This scene from one of the most stunning and detailed open-world experiences in history was originally performed by Roger Clark and Rob Wiethoff. This scene brought the performances of these legendary characters and the voices behind them to the forefront in this peak of storytelling in video games.

I have rarely been so emotionally invested in the bond between two characters but these two men shared an unshakable bond, even in the face of everything they had known crumbling before their very eyes.

As I started recording the voices for this video, I knew I was somewhat comfortable with portraying Arthur because of how many times I have performed his voice in the past but with John, I knew there was something so unique about his voice that I had to capture. A thin line between his lower and upper vocal registers. I wanted to portray these characters’ years of friendship and brotherhood and I can confidently say that I am very happy with how this video turned out.

Rockstar Games crafted a gorgeous but deadly environment that these characters inhabited and the world not only served as a background but another entire character that complemented these two brothers.
