Wandering the wilderness is sometimes a time-consuming task. Mostly because natural life doesn't like invasive species (such as myself) to be near their territory and I am made to fight them. I could always run away from the battle but I need to be able to grow from every encounter. My progress is slow but one day I'll get where I need to be. I am not as young as I used to be and my body grows older and slower with each passing second.
I must make these next few decades last. I went to Anvil seeking out the trainer for my blunt techniques. Instead, he redirected me to seek out a master in the Imperial City who seemingly has a troubled history. I left soon and went to Skingrad after contracting some disease I had gotten from some large bear. The last time I tried getting my afflictions healed the Nine had other plans for me that day and I wasn't able to receive their healing. It was a bit infuriating but I have accumulated some infamy so perhaps it was justified to a certain degree...
I ran back to the Imperial City and met with Irene thinking about what I heard about this person. What manner of quest would I have to do to receive training from her? Fortunately, she's heard of me and is seemingly aware of the amount of bodies I have under my belt. It was strange to hear but at least there was nothing for me to do but train. After searching for the blunt master I thought it necessary to find another Daedric artifact and so I searched until I came across the shrine of Vaermina.
Vaermina wants her orb back and the one who has it is in a fort nearby. I went inside the fort and while everything seemed normal upon my first impression I would soon realize that this is not the case. The whole place feels like a dream with rooms leading to rooms that look the same but lead to different paths, with rooms leading to voids with narrow pathways to cross lest you fall and find your doom, with creatures so fierce that you could meet your end at any time.
I fear my body can no longer bear the same amount of training as it once did. When it came to rest I laid on the bed next to the thief for he would not wake no matter what I tried I awoke feeling somewhat incomplete. I can no longer handle any form of harsh training as I did in Vvardenfell and so I need to adopt a better training regimen to be able to deal with any dangers coming forth.
