I am a fool. I bought a home and cannot furnish it. I felt the need to join the thieves guild to gain riches quick but ironically I had to wait till midnight. Upon everyone gathering we had a competition. The goal was to find and steal a journal and return back to the meeting spot. Methredhel knew where to look and had the advantage. I asked a beggar if he knew anything and he merely told me the location of where this book holder was.
Upon getting there Methredhel got in without any trouble. As expected of a seasoned thief. Once I was inside however it did not take long for the female thief to find the journal and make her escape. I gave chase but when we got to the meeting spot Armand was not there. We would have to wait 24 hours to see him again. Methredhel went home and I snuck into her home. While she was changing I stole the journal from a chest she had lying around and made my escape. I had to pass the time and so I wandered around to see what I could find.
The next night I returned and heard Methredhel venting her frustrations to Armand. he seemed to not care and when I arrived he declared me the winner and thus I was made into a pickpocket for the guild. I was interested to see if there were any jobs for me to do but I needed to show to the guild that I was good enough. I had to fence items. Thus I have to steal... Perhaps this was a bad idea after all...
