I did what should now be considered to be my daily ritual of visiting the Imperial City, in addition to taking time to train. Once more I left in search of another shrine that I recall hearing about. Meridia was close and amazingly enough, when I looked up to gaze at her shrine, the light shone down upon her. All she wanted was for me to go to a nearby mine and clear out the necromancers in it.

It sounded easy enough and as soon as I encountered the mages they fought me with glass weapons in hand. This was a terrible day to try to get comfortable in light armor. My speed should be good but I'll learn about it better while wearing light armor. Unfortunately, the area made it hard for me to move and dodge attacks. With any luck, I managed to slay them and claim my prize which was a glass mace.

When I sold off the excess and went back to the shrine, Meridia gave me the Ring of Khatiiti. It can camouflage me and grant me extra speed. I've been thinking recently and I realized that I grew quickly in Vvardenfell because I joined several factions. I thought about joining the Thieves Guild as they are a required presence for any Imperial organization. I feel less inclined to try to apply for the Imperial Legion because despite having done what I could for my province I was still treated poorly and cast aside.

I went out to find the next shrine. Malacath was one I wanted to avoid for a while mostly because I find Orcs to be detestable folks. It's not my fault their Daedric prince used to be respectable until he was turned into feces. Not to mention that they are generally rude towards most races that aren't Orc. Either I don't look forward to dealing with them in any shape or form...
