The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion | Part 37 | Soul Hunting
The Oblivion Gates are opening, and pouring forth are the Devilish Daedra of Mehrunes Dagon. Destroy the Daedra, and save the continent of Tamriel, as well as all of Mundus!
One of my favorite games ever made.
Oblivion came out in 2006 on PC, PS3, and XBox 360. Made by Bethesda Softworks.

I rejoice! I have found the first lost soul, Marin the Seal, on a small island outcropping. I carefully avoided the lava, jumping as high and as hard as I could to avoid being singed to death. Marin the Seal seemed frightened, and rightfully so, her and her group separated their souls from their bodies. Bah. Moving back, I noticed a cave entrance, and chose to not enter. The sweltering heat is bad enough out here, it must be much worse underneath the ground where the lava is.
I returned to the main path and ventured further. The Daedra here are varied in size, but all just as deadly. I took notice of all the valuable and rare Alchemy ingredients to harvest. I could make a fortune, but instead I decided I would invest in my Alchemy training.
The "treasures" of this world are inside of gross fleshy pods. Revolting, and all they seemed to give were gold and some weak potions.
Many battles later I managed to recover the soul of Mirie, who was requesting to be saved by her lord. She has the hands of a healer. Interesting.
I found no way across the sea of lava in front of me, so I had to turn back and work around the hard way.
Finally at my starting point again I went the way I had not before, only to meet awful resistance. Drider Daedra make my skin crawl. It took me some time to deal with them, but when it was over, I made my way towards the tower I had seen from the other side of the sea of lava, and spotted a Soul at the bottom of the tower.
