The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion | Part 58 | Retaking Kvatch
The Oblivion Gates are opening, and pouring forth are the Devilish Daedra of Mehrunes Dagon. Destroy the Daedra, and save the continent of Tamriel, as well as all of Mundus!
One of my favorite games ever made.
Oblivion came out in 2006 on PC, PS3, and XBox 360. Made by Bethesda Softworks.

Luring the Daedra into the Sewers worked for a little bit, until they lured me out and I had to fight them to the death in the courtyard with an unconscious Savlian Matius in tow. Using his body as a weapon is not a thing I should have done, and I didn't, but the thought had occurred.
Having finally cleared the courtyard, I made time to do some repairs to my equipment. Most all of it was broken, and in desperate need of repairs.
The Great Halls of Castle Kvatch were teeming with Daedra, and after wiping them out, Savlian chose to stay behind and guard the Great Hall as I went to search for the missing Count, Ormellius Goldwine.
Further into Castle Kvatch there was an impressive amount of fire, and little to loot. I found the Count at the end of a hallway, and, unfortunately he was dead in a pool of blood, with a Daedroth over his body. This room had quite the loot, and it would make for great selling. Even his Signet Ring was still intact!
I left for the Great Hall to inform Savlian of the bad news. He asked for the Signet Ring and I begrudgingly handed it over. Savlian then rewarded me by removing his pants and armor, and then gifting me his armor. Quite odd and shocking, but I accepted. I could at least sell it. It didn't have that great an enchantment, but everything that's enchanted sells for a lot.
Now I must find Martin, or "Brother Martin", as he is called by the remainder of Kvatch's citizens.
