Hey guys, Altered State here. Welcome back to another episode of The Evil Within 2. In this episode we investigate the experimental wing post chip removal. There are a lot more zombies now, and even a gas monster roaming around below. We slowly take them out, and when the room seems clear, we head the opposite direction of the door with the chip reader, as that is clearly the way we are supposed to go. We head down another path that appears more like a mine tunnel with a pit to dump bodies in at the end. We head into a small office nearby, and check a file on the computer. Doing so immediately transfers us back into the world of the scary lady. She launches us into a completely new setting, where we have to hide from her and try to sneak past her. The game of cat and mouse seems a bit pointless though, as she is constantly manipulating the objects in the room to block our path. As if she already knows exactly where we are. We finally escape her, and have room to breath. We pick up a couple files, and then wander down the hall to see an interesting sight. Ourselves lying on a table, mumbling to ourselves. But it is the past version of ourselves, in which we determine is the part of our psyche still stuck in STEM from our trip to Beacon in the first game. It seems when facing our inner demons again, the only logical solution is to shoot ourselves in the head to escape. We do so, and somehow get a revolver out of the deal, plus a projector slide and an achievement. Score! We end here, and will head through the chip reader door next time.
