Your are looking for an open and flexible SysML and UML tool? You want to learn how Papyrus was continuously improved over the last few years and how it could further evolve in the future? This talk is for you!

Papyrus is a powerful, open and very flexible platform for SysML and UML tools. Compared to commercial tool suites, it allows domain specific adaptations and lets you avoid the typical vendor lockin for such a critical part of your tool chain. In this talk, we provide a general introduction of Papyrus and how you can adopt it for your needs. We provide an overview of the most relevant developments in recent years, such as the extensive improvement of the model versioning capabilities and the new ready-to-use distributions. Finally, we provide an outlook along two technical studies on how Papyrus could be evolved in the future. More concretely, we demonstrate a proof-of-concept implementation of Papyrus running on JavaFX as well as a web-version of existing diagrams. All topics include general information, technical information and of course a live demonstration.
