155Don't Fret Audition is a demo that has been released as a first stand alone chapter for the full game of Don't Fret. This is a really interesting take on the Mascot Horror genre as it takes music at its center stage for both the mascots and the puzzles.
We play as Fret and we are turned into a cute guitar man. We find ourselves at school and now need to escape while solving puzzles and avoiding sinister creatures. The whole game oozes atmosphere and detail and this Mascot Horror game feels so polished. It really made me happy as there are many mascot horror games where the developers have done quick work, but these developers took their time and created an enviroment that feels so lived in and full of detail. The voice acting is superb and the cutscene and animations are also buttery smooth. This is honestly one of the better Mascot Horror games out there and worth keeping an eye on. I cannot wait to see what the developer has in store for us when the full release is here. I will see you all then! Rock on, musicians!
