The Infinite Continues Trick in Super Double Dragon (SNES) - A Wild Glitch Appears!
445There's a relatively easy glitch you can exploit in Super Double Dragon for the SNES that can theoretically provide you with infinite continues (or infinite credits) in a two-player game.
If both players have lost all their lives in a 2-player game, they will both be prompted to continue at the same time. If this happens AND there is only one continue left, press START on both controllers at the same time. If you performed the trick correctly, both players will continue AND you will now have SEVEN continues remaining.
The trick doesn't have to be painfully precise either. I tested it a few times and you don't have to be frame perfect or anything. As long as you press START on both controllers at about the same time, it should work. I'd say it's probably a 3-frame window.
So again, if there's only ONE continue left, and both players press START to use that continue at the same time, your continue counter will underflow to SEVEN. You can even repeat this trick later if you find yourself with only one continue again. So theoretically, this trick can earn you infinite continues.
