When you step on a Stun Tile in Gauntlet for the NES, your character will be paralyzed for a few seconds. You will not be able to move or attack for the duration of the stun, and it's usually not a big deal, but if enemies are approaching, you could end up taking some bad damage.

However, if you pause the game right after stepping on a Stun Tile, then immediately unpause, your character will no longer be stunned or paralyzed.

It's a super easy trick that can save you some headache in Gauntlet for the NES. It becomes particularly handy in a few of the later levels where stun tiles are placed in some really annoying spots!

ALSO big shout out to Grayson for being a fan!
