Playthrough with Ryo, Robert and Mr. Big. This game is a bit of an improvement over the previous Game Boy KoF game, as the controls are more responsive. The CPU is still very aggressive, though. As with the previous game, there is a surprise fighter to battle after the credits if you beat the game on hard. This time it's Mr. Karate! He's got all of his usual moves, but they're powered up, and his ranbu super is great. It's too bad he wasn't in the arcade version as I would have loved to beat up Goenitz with him.

There are also a few team combinations in this game which will lead to extra fights after Goenitz. For this team, Ryo and Robert decide to take on Mr. Big. This game would later be released in Europe under the name of The King of Fighters: Heat of Battle. I would have liked to do a playthrough of the English verison, but unfortunately it's very rare and also very expensive. So I got the Japanese version for about a 10th of the price of the Euro version.
