In this video, I discuss The Last of Us Factions at The Game Awards 2023 and why I believe it's unlikely to happen. With everyone surrounding the recent leaks, to unveiling of The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered on the PS5, it just does not seem very likely that The Last of Us Factions will be displayed at this year's, The Game Awards. The Game Awards is a yearly event that typically happens in December, celebrating achievements across the game industry, with many unveiling and reveals. This year will be no different, except I felt the need to discuss the unlikely event that The Last of Us Factions will be at The Game Awards...
Just about a week or two ago, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered got leaked, and suddenly Naughty Dog and PlayStation took to Twitter to officially announce it. My theory is that the trailer was anticipated to be shown at The Game Awards, however it the leaks prompted the studio to reveal it early. If true, then that would likely mean that The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered was the only content that was likely to be shown at The Game Awards. Thus — The Last of Us Factions at the game awards is more than unlikely to happen... sadly. It's been years since we've had much updates about The Last of Us Factions online project and I've been worried about it for some time now. However, I do believe Naughty Dog is crafting something of a masterpiece that will fully be worth the wait. But let me know what you think; could we see The Last of Us Factions at The Game Awards 2023, or will it be in the shadows of the darkness for yet ANOTHER year?
