832025 keeps on bringing awesome games and today we archive the latest one in the form of The Midnight Walk. This charming indie horror game had won me over from the moment I saw the first trailer. The style is what is most unique as it takes place in a beautiful and creepy world filled with creatures that are portrayed through claymation. So they are actually handcrafted clay figures and presented in a stop motion movement that creates an atmosphere unlike anything I have seen in games.
We have seen this in movies before, but never in games. The music is beautiful and haunting and you get to meet some really great and memorable characters. My favorite was the wobbly house character that joins you and pot boy on your adventure.
You get to solve various puzzles and even have some chase sequences or stealth segments. I do think the game was at its strongest when there were no enemies around and you could really soak in the amazing atmosphere. It would work great as a pure adventure game and I hope we will see more of this talented developer and this awesome world.
