ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN | Tricephalos Expedition | Game Walkthrough | No Commentary
36One of the most anticipated titles of the year 2025 just dropped in the form of Elden Ring Nightreign. I am a huge From Software game and have played all their Souls games and was very excited to find out that we get a proper co-op Souls experience with Nightreign.
The premise is simple and takes some inspirations from other games like Fortnite and Monster Hunter. Three of us get dropped on a big map and have to explore and fight enemies to level up and collect gear. While we do this a giant ring of fire encloses on us and eventually leads us to a boss fight. After repeating this process twice we get to face against a final major boss.
Since you don't really get to build your own character and keep the permanent progression, I do think the game can get a bit repetitive if you are playing by yourself, but playing with friends made for a very cool and awesome experience.
I do still prefer the singleplayer experience where you can take your time exploring everything, but Nightreign is a welcome addition to add some variety to the Souls formula.
