The search for more snacks continues in Distant Worlds 2. Today the Teekan are forced to take a deep breath and reevaluate the situation they are in, especially considering that neighbors to the south are starting to get ideas about our spies and where our territory is with their borders. Still, the focus of the episode is trying to get exploration out before things are too late, and while a firefight may be in our future is it too early to ask why I haven't seen any pirates yet?

Distant Worlds 2 is the follow up to Distant Worlds: Universe, and it's fair to say that not breaking a working formula has been the right play. The UI and presentation has been greatly improved, but Distant Worlds 2 still holds onto its mostly 4x roots where you are free to automate as much as you want while watching the private economy prop up your empire. Look out for blind tech tree excitement AND new story events that continues the story from Universe. Prior experience not required.
