We're beginning to feel a bit boxed in with this Distant Worlds 2 save. There are some independent colonies nearby and our colony ships that are still looking for a suitable home. And we'll cross those bridges as we reach them. But the more we reach to the extremes of our fuel supplies, the more we're finding that what we have is what we have and we're gonna have to deal with it. At least our debt problems are done, as it turns out that terraforming is REALLY expensive. Also, I apologize for the audio balancing issues.

Distant Worlds 2 is the follow up to Distant Worlds: Universe, and it's fair to say that not breaking a working formula has been the right play. The UI and presentation has been greatly improved, but Distant Worlds 2 still holds onto its mostly 4x roots where you are free to automate as much as you want while watching the private economy prop up your empire. Look out for blind tech tree excitement AND new story events that continues the story from Universe. Prior experience not required.
