11Can you repair a starship with duct tape and make it spaceworthy? The answer in Stardeus is YES! Even if all of the parts are not in final order, it's possible to fire up the thrusters and sling everything to another planet. Thanks again to the developer for making some key bug fixes that let the run keep going -- so hopefully now we don't have to reinvent the wheel and re-do the start of the game. Next up, finding out what resources we can get from somewhere other than cannibalizing steel plates. Maybe even soil? That would be great.
Stardeus is a very promising looking spaceship and colony survival game that is still in heavy development and not yet in early access. The developer was kind enough to give me Alpha access to take a deeper look at the game and gave no restrictions for what I can show. His only request is simple: remember that this game is in alpha and there will be bugs and things that don't always work. So far everything I've let him know about has been fixed very quickly.
